Sarah Dickins is BBC Cymru Wales’ first Economics Correspondent and one of the country’s most experienced journalists. Sarah’s experience and in depth understanding means that she brings added context and understanding to her work.
Sarah was the first woman Industrial Correspondent on television in the UK. She also launched BBC2’s Working Lunch with Adrian Chiles, BBC Radio Wales’ first phone in, “Sarah Dickins Show” and the business programme BBC Wales@Work, which won three prestigious awards from the Work Foundation.
Sarah has presented a wide range of programmes Wales Today; Good Morning Wales; Woman’s Hour; Business Breakfast and programmes for the World Service.
Sarah has also made her own TV and radio documentaries on the Spanish Civil War; Boys’ literacy; children, food and other documentaries. Sarah’s documentary on the last Welsh International Brigader from the Spanish Civil War won a Celtic Media Award.
